The atomic
bomb was dropped above Nagasaki at 500 meters. The
hypocenter is the place above the earth where a bomb goes
off. One hundred forty nine thousand people were killed or
injured.

brings true a wish. 1,000 folded cranes is a symbol of the
wish for peace around the world.
